Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and API testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and prepare test execution reports
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint testing activities
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit
• API testing using Postman or REST Assured
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA
• Understanding of SQL and database testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
• 3-8+ years of experience in automation testing
• Experience working in Agile environments
• ISTQB certification a plus
