This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PeopleSoft Framework Developer based in United States. This is an opportunity for an experienced PeopleSoft technical professional to design, maintain, and enhance enterprise application environments. The role focuses on building a reliable technical foundation through platform administration, upgrades, integrations, and automation. You will work across engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions that support critical enterprise systems. The position requires strong expertise in PeopleTools, infrastructure, databases, and modern development practices. You will contribute to architecture decisions, troubleshoot complex challenges, and improve platform performance. This remote role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working on large-scale enterprise technology solutions. ### Accountabilities: The PeopleSoft Framework Developer will be responsible for managing the technical lifecycle of enterprise PeopleSoft environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and operational excellence. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and well-engineered solutions while supporting ongoing platform improvements. - Design, configure, install, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft environments, including PeopleTools upgrades and application updates. - Manage the technical architecture and operational performance of PeopleSoft platforms, ensuring reliability and scalability. - Administer PeopleSoft application servers, process schedulers, WebLogic, and Tuxedo environments. - Configure and support search capabilities using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch technologies. - Support Oracle database operations and troubleshoot complex technical issues across application and infrastructure layers. - Manage PeopleSoft security configurations, integrations, and middleware connections. - Implement automation and operational improvements using tools such as PeopleSoft Cloud Manager and infrastructure automation solutions. - Support high availability and disaster recovery strategies for enterprise PeopleSoft environments. - Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, documentation efforts, and mentorship of junior technical team members. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate brings deep PeopleSoft administration expertise combined with strong infrastructure, database, and engineering skills. They should be comfortable operating complex enterprise systems, solving technical challenges independently, and collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience. - Proven experience managing PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM). - Strong knowledge of WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers. - Experience administering Elasticsearch or OpenSearch environments supporting PeopleSoft applications. - Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration. - Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and shell scripting experience. - Experience supporting PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or similar automation platforms. - Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery approaches for PeopleSoft environments. - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus. - Experience running PeopleSoft environments on cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure is preferred. - Understanding of CI/CD practices and PeopleSoft Selective Adoption strategies is advantageous. ## Benefits: - Competitive annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000. - Fully remote work opportunity within the United States. - Full-time direct employment opportunity. - Career growth opportunities within a technology-focused environment. - Opportunity to work on complex enterprise systems and modern cloud technologies. - Collaborative environment with opportunities for technical ownership and innovation. - Supportive workplace culture focused on professional development. - Equal opportunity workplace committed to inclusion and respect.
