- Linux: Solid systems administration and troubleshooting skills in Linux environments.
- Python: Strong scripting and programming skills in Python to drive automation, tooling, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate Delivery: Partner with development teams to enhance deployment speed, system scalability, and overall application reliability.
- Maintain Platform Health: Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience across our entire production platform.
- Design & Implement: Contribute to the design, architecture, and rollout of new services and infrastructure systems.
- Observability & Monitoring: Develop and maintain robust application monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to gain deep insights into system health.
- Automate Everything: Design and implement automation tools to eliminate manual toil, boost operational efficiency, and minimize downtime.
- Incident Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to quickly troubleshoot and resolve critical platform incidents.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up-to-date with emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices in the Cloud Native and Platform Engineering space.
About You

- Containerization: Strong experience running web-scale deployments of containerized systems using Kubernetes and/or Amazon container services (ECS/EKS).
- Problem Solver: A proactive approach to identifying root causes, debugging complex systems, and collaborating with code owners to prevent recurrence.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Growth Mindset: An eager learner who is passionate about building elegant, developer-friendly interfaces and infrastructure.
Nice to Have
