## ## Job Description: **Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position** ## The Role Fidelity’s Workplace Investing group is looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join us in the design and development of mission critical web applications and financial tools using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment. As a part of WI distributed Financial Operations Chapter, you will partner closely with business, operations & engineering teams to implement next generation technology solutions to transform our operational landscape. ## ## The Expertise and Skills You Bring - ## Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology - ## Principal Full Stack Java Engineer with 9 to 12 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 3 years in complex IT projects/initiatives. ## - ## Experience building applications using a broad stack of technologies (UI, API, data, etc.) such as Angular, SQL, Java, J2EE stack, Spring/Spring Boot, Azure/AWS, SQL, Maven or Ant, Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Git and Test-Driven Development (TDD) - ## Should be equally good on Angular and Java. - ## Ability to work with Architects and able to influence them. - ## Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated applications - ## Experience working in agile teams and sound knowledge of agile scrum methodology - ## A quick learner and willing to take initiative. - ## Experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners - ## Very good communication. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
