The role provides significant opportunities to influence technical direction and grow within an innovative organization. ### Accountabilities: The Principal Python Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving enterprise-grade applications and data-intensive platforms. This role requires strong ownership of software quality, system reliability, and technical problem-solving while collaborating with engineering, product, data, and infrastructure teams. - Design, develop, and enhance complex Python-based applications, automation platforms, and distributed systems. - Build secure, scalable, and highly available solutions that meet enterprise performance and reliability requirements. - Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. - Develop and optimize database solutions, including schema design, query performance improvements, and integration with relational database systems. - Analyze complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable technical solutions. - Apply strong software engineering principles, including clean architecture, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and secure coding standards. - Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective software solutions. - Support operational excellence by improving system resilience, monitoring, and performance. - Contribute to engineering best practices and help raise the technical standards across development teams. - Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate brings deep Python expertise, strong software engineering fundamentals, and experience building reliable enterprise applications.
