Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Prisma Cloud Engineer based in India. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen cloud security across complex multi-cloud environments by designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions. As a Prisma Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting cloud infrastructure, applications, workloads, and containerized environments. You will work on security posture management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with collaboration across Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams. You will contribute to building secure cloud architectures, improving automation, and enabling strong DevSecOps practices. Working in a fast-paced technology environment, you will help protect critical systems while driving continuous security improvements. ### Accountabilities: The Prisma Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud security solutions, identifying risks, and supporting secure cloud adoption across enterprise environments. The role requires strong technical expertise in cloud security platforms, infrastructure protection, automation, and security operations. - Deploy, configure, and administer Prisma Cloud solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. - Implement and manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM), and Cloud Detection & Response (CDR) capabilities. - Monitor cloud environments to identify security misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance risks. - Configure security policies, alerts, dashboards, and automated remediation workflows. - Secure container platforms, Kubernetes clusters, Docker environments, and serverless applications. - Conduct cloud security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk evaluations. - Integrate Prisma Cloud with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools. - Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to implement security best practices. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security scanning solutions for Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, and Kubernetes manifests. - Investigate security incidents, analyze cloud threats, and recommend effective remediation strategies. - Support compliance activities by preparing reports, documentation, and audit materials. - Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures. - Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud security processes and DevSecOps practices. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud security engineering with hands-on expertise in Prisma Cloud implementation and administration. You should have experience securing modern cloud environments, working with automation tools, and collaborating with technical teams to improve security posture. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. - 4 to 8 years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Security, or a related domain. - Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud deployment, configuration, and administration. - Experience securing AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments. - Strong knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), CIEM, and CDR concepts. - Experience with Kubernetes security, Docker security, containers, and cloud-native architectures. - Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and security best practices. - Experience with DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation), and CI/CD security. - Knowledge of REST APIs and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. - Experience with Linux administration and network security concepts. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Relevant certifications are preferred, including Palo Alto Networks certifications, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCSP, CISSP, or Kubernetes Certified Security Specialist. ## Benefits: - Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and technical expertise. - Opportunity to work on advanced cloud security projects across multi-cloud environments. - Exposure to leading cybersecurity technologies and modern DevSecOps practices. - Professional development opportunities through certifications, training, and continuous learning. - Collaborative environment with experienced Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, and DevOps professionals. - Opportunity to contribute to security improvements that protect critical business systems. - Full-time employment with opportunities for long-term career growth. - Dynamic work environment focused on innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
