Job Description

Process Safety Designer
Division:

Summary Section:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Safety Designer to support the preparation and updating of process safety drawings under the guidance of senior designers and engineers. This role is ideal for candidates starting their career in process safety or engineering drafting within industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, and chemical.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and revising process safety drawings, including:
- UFDs, PFDs, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) & Line list
- Fire & Gas layouts
- Escape Route Layouts
- Fire water Network Layouts
- Safety Equipment Layouts
- Hazardous area classification drawings
- Convert engineer mark-ups and sketches into CAD drawings
- Support updating of drawings based on Design Changes
- Ensure quality before releasing drawings for checking
- Actively participate in CAD meetings
- Prioritize and communicate daily tasks within the CAD team
- Report works progress, timelines, and deadlines to CAD Manager
- Ensure data accuracy between SPPID database and drawings
Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Minimum of 6-15 years of experience as a Process Designer / Process Safety Designer, with at least 6 years working in SPPID, AutoCAD & MicroStation.
- Hands on experience: SPPID, AutoCAD and MicroStation

Key Responsibilities
