This is a **12- month** contract, with our client in the banking sector. We are passionate about improving the working lives of our employees. As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize UX journeys, design intuitive interfaces for internal platforms, and enrich our daily operational ecosystem. **Key Responsibilities** - **UI/UX Artifact Creation:** Design compelling UI layouts, interface elements, high-fidelity prototypes, storyboards, wireframes, and navigation maps. - **Design System Custodian:** Develop, maintain, and scale visual and interaction assets within the established corporate Design System; adhere to consistent design patterns. - **User Research & Testing:** Conduct competitor, behavioural, and best-practice research. Formulate testing parameters to assess UX and integrate user feedback into design iterations. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner closely with the Service Design team, product owners, and engineers to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business metrics. - **Stakeholder Alignment:** Communicate design ideas clearly, both verbally and visually, to secure executive buy-in and project alignment. - **Project Delivery:** Take full accountability for time management and deliver high-quality, client-centred solutions within agreed project deadlines. **Minimum Requirements** - **Experience:** Minimum of **8 years** of proven experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or Interaction Design (ideally working on internal platforms or enterprise software). - **Education:** - Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate. - Advanced Diploma or National First Degree (NQF Level 7 or higher).
