It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. ## Description • Responsible for the Quality Assurance & Quality Control of Portables coming out of Apple’s OEM Factories • Quality Management Systems (QMS) adherence, development, implementation, procedures, and any related quality activity • Interface with Apple/OEM SQE to resolve any suppliers’ quality related issues • Drive improvements in QMS / Quality Tools & Techniques • Recommend & implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve quality excursions • Review Quality trends, drive improvement plans to reduce defects • Use Quality Tools & Techniques to analyze & improve quality & productivity • Conduct audits to determine if the OEM /Supplier quality systems are adequate • Coordinate & Standardize OEM / Supplier quality across all facilities • Continuously improve technical support within the Quality organizations • Formulate, implement & improve consistent quality procedures ## Minimum qualifications Minimum 10 years of relevant experience / BSc or BEng, of which minimum must be 3 years in supervisory or managerial position. Experience working in high volume consumer electronic products (PCBA & system level) in a design, manufacturing or product / test engineering role ## Preferred qualifications Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, 6-Sigma Black / Green belt preferred Advanced statistical process controls, data driven analysis (statistics, reliability, sampling & auditing) Proficient in analysis process tools & software (JMP, MiniTab, 6 Sigma, SPC, etc) Working knowledge of international quality standards, eg. ISO 9001 / 14001, etc) Good interpersonal & communication skills
