In this role, you will investigate and implement environmental DNA (eDNA), molecular diagnostics and high-throughput sequencing (HTS) approaches to improve the detection and identification of pest and disease threats across aquatic, animal and plant biosecurity systems. Working at the intersection of research, diagnostics and surveillance, you will provide scientific leadership and oversight of existing molecular workflows while contributing to the development, validation and continuous improvement of innovative diagnostic methods.
