KX is hiring a dedicated and highly skilled Python Implementation Engineer to join our Implementation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and deploying our proprietary financial products within AWS-hosted and customer environments.  This is a critical position that ensures the seamless integration of our solutions, supporting high-quality, scalable deployments. You will collaborate closely with clients, addressing technical inquiries, implementing custom solutions, and maintaining ongoing system stability. Location & Workplace Type Hybrid working model (Adonts 2, Yerevan, Armenia) ### Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Client Engagement & Communication: Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, diving deep into their trading data, and addressing technical questions and implementation challenges. - Data Analysis: Analyze complex financial and trading data sets to identify issues, patterns, and optimization opportunities, reliable implementation outcomes. - Custom ETL Development: Design and build client-specific ETL processes, particularly for applications like Trade Surveillance and Transaction Cost Analysis. - Customization of Standard Products: Write tailored code to adapt our core products to meet individual client requirements, ensuring smooth integration with their systems. - Maintain and Troubleshoot Pipelines: Ensure the ongoing functionality of data pipelines, actively troubleshooting and collaborating with the product development team to resolve issues. - Continuous Improvement: Participate in the improvement of processes, tools, and solutions while learning proprietary technologies such as One Tick. ### Requirements Skills - Capital market experience / Data engineering experience: Capital markets experience - especially transaction feed handler / loader and market data concepts AND/OR expertise with data engineering, ETL for complex implementation projects (Airflow knowledge - nice to have). - Attention to Detail combined with Multitasking: A meticulous approach to your work, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness, while able to switch between tickets and Customers. - Communication Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Essential Experience - Strong Python Skills: At least 3 years of practical experience with Python, with the ability to easily write and adapt code, a solid understanding of Python syntax, and familiarity with data analysis using Pandas (a plus). - Technical Proficiency: Experience working with complex systems within Customer implementation and integration projects, understanding how various components interact, and troubleshooting code. Good awareness of the SDLC best practices (here Gitlab CI as a tool - nice to have). - Experience with Troubleshooting: Here it includes Linux hands-on, reading logs (Grafana, Sentry, etc.),and providing structured and reasonable RCA. We need experience of troubleshooting Kubernetes pods and awareness of containerization as well.
