Confirmo is a global stablecoin-first payment platform trusted by market leaders. Originally founded in Prague in 2014, we now run one of the most established infrastructures in the industry. We're a 60-person global team, and we're looking for a QA to make Quality Assurance a first-class citizen in every engineering effort at Confirmo. We’re building a FinTech platform that provides crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto payments to worldwide businesses. We’ve got a ~300K-line codebase backed by another ~300K lines of tests. Every engineer at Confirmo is responsible for thoroughly testing their own work. We’re experimenting with Claude and other AI-assisted testing, but we need you to: Key Responsibilities: - Lead our E2E test automation effort - an area we’ve historically under-invested in. - Establish a way of working where QA is a founding stakeholder in larger initiatives from day one - not a last-mile checkbox after everything has already been proposed, designed, scoped, and built. - Use AI extensively to accelerate our test automation. We’re using Claude Code and the tooling around it, and we expect you to have hands-on experience with AI-assisted test automation, but we need you to go beyond that. There are well-known pain points in “traditional” QA (test case definition and maintenance, flaky scripts, test data setup, signal-to-noise in failure triage, etc.), and agentic AI approaches are starting to address many of them. We need you to bring those approaches in and lead that effort at Confirmo. Your Profile: - A proven track record in quality assurance, covering both manual testing and test automation. B2B SaaS testing is an ideal background; FinTech - especially crypto FinTech - even more so. Crypto experience is not a must though. - We’re looking for someone who’s both a “technical nerd” (loves tinkering with APIs, home hardware, automation, scripting, vibe coding - anything in that space) and a strong analytical thinker. Being a nerd is great, but knowing what matters from what doesn’t - and shipping - matters more. On top of that, you need to be obsessed with user experience and information clarity. - We don’t expect you to be a seasoned software engineer who’s shipped numerous backend and/or frontend applications, but you should be comfortable with the scripting needed to automate tests and routine tasks. TypeScript, Bash, Python, or any other scripting or programming language should feel like a natural tool in your hands. As an AI rockstar once said: you can outsource the implementation to Claude, you can’t outsource the understanding. And we’ll test you on this statement ;-). - Practical experience with Postman or a similar API test automation tool. - Hands-on, beyond-tutorial experience with Cypress, Playwright, or a similar browser test automation tool. - Experience with Angular-based applications is a plus. We’re using Angular 20, Typescript, RESTful services, GraphQL, nx.dev, Storybook, JVM languages on the backend side. Location: We will only consider candidates who are based in Prague.
