Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Engineer (Business Systems & Order Management) based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to ensure the quality and reliability of business-critical software solutions within an agile engineering environment. You will contribute to designing, testing, and improving scalable systems that support customer operations and business workflows. Working closely with development teams and stakeholders, you will help deliver reliable software experiences through effective quality practices. The position combines technical testing expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration to improve products and processes continuously. You will play an important role in validating complex configurations, identifying issues, and supporting successful software releases. This is an opportunity to join a remote engineering team where innovation, quality, and continuous improvement are central to success. ### Accountabilities: The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating software quality, improving testing processes, and supporting the delivery of reliable business systems. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with agile development teams to influence product quality and support continuous improvement. - Planning, organizing, and prioritizing test cases, test plans, and quality validation activities. - Reviewing test plans independently to ensure software systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with requirements. - Setting up and managing test environments to simulate real-world scenarios and validate customer configurations before releases. - Designing and executing functional tests to verify the quality, performance, and reliability of delivered features. - Identifying, documenting, and communicating software defects with clear details to support timely resolution. - Establishing, maintaining, and improving quality management processes, standards, and procedures. - Performing system setup, software installation, configuration, and integration activities. - Installing and supporting hardware and software components, including servers, cameras, and related devices. - Supporting testing activities related to business systems, customer order workflows, and service delivery processes. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address issues and enhance overall product quality. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate has strong software quality assurance experience, technical testing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment. Required qualifications and skills include: - 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software applications. - 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ. - Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. - Experience testing applications that support customer order management and service delivery processes. - Strong relational SQL skills with the ability to execute DML operations for testing purposes. - Ability to create high-quality functional test cases that validate software functionality and performance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to adapt to changing requirements and incorporate customer feedback effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices. - Experience with Jira or similar work management tools. - Experience with TestRail or other test management platforms. - Experience implementing and supporting automated testing for Salesforce configurations and Apex deployments is a plus. - Familiarity with serverless application development, deployment, and monitoring is an advantage. - Experience testing PHP and Node.js-based web applications is a plus. ## Benefits: The role offers a comprehensive package designed to support professional growth, flexibility, and employee well-being.
