# Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (3–11+ Years Experience) ## Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer ## Experience: 3–11+ Years ## Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ## Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, test planning, defect management, and test reporting while collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams. ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and automation testing. - Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the testing lifecycle. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to validate business and technical requirements. - Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve testing efficiency. - Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release validation activities. - Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness documentation. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation as required. - Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing standards. ## Must Have Skills - Experience with Allure OR qTest OR TestMo for test management and reporting. - Experience with Selenium OR Cypress OR Playwright OR Appium for test automation. - Hands-on experience in Functional Testing AND Integration Testing AND Regression Testing AND Performance Testing AND Automation Testing. - Experience creating Test Plans AND Test Cases AND Test Scenarios AND Test Execution Reports. - Defect Tracking AND Bug Reporting using Jira OR Azure DevOps OR Bugzilla. - Knowledge of REST APIs AND API Testing using Postman OR SoapUI. - Familiarity with Git AND GitHub OR GitLab OR Bitbucket. - Understanding of SDLC AND STLC AND Agile OR Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. ## Good to Have Skills - Performance testing using JMeter OR LoadRunner OR Gatling. - Programming or scripting knowledge in Java OR Python OR JavaScript OR C#. - CI/CD tools such as Jenkins OR GitHub Actions OR GitLab CI OR Azure DevOps Pipelines. - Database validation using SQL OR PostgreSQL OR MySQL OR Oracle SQL Server. - Experience testing Web Applications AND Mobile Applications AND RESTful APIs. - Knowledge of Docker OR Kubernetes and cloud environments (AWS OR Azure OR Google Cloud Platform (GCP)). - Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (Cucumber OR SpecFlow). ## Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 3–11 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. - Experience working in Agile development environments. - ISTQB Foundation OR Advanced certification is a plus. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
