Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in banking, payment systems, and SWIFT technologies to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, NC. The role involves implementing and supporting SWIFT services such as SWIFTNet, FIN, InterAct, and FileAct, along with ISO 20022 messaging and enterprise messaging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and support SWIFT services such as SWIFTNet, FIN, InterAct, and FileAct
  • Work with ISO 20022 (MT/MX) messaging standards
  • Build and maintain REST APIs, Spring Boot applications, and microservices
  • Develop and support enterprise messaging using IBM MQ, JMS, and Kafka
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver banking and payment solutions
  • Ensure web security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility standards are met

Requirements

  • 9+ years of Java development experience
  • Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Servlets, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC
  • Experience building REST APIs, Spring Boot, Microservices, GraphQL, and MongoDB
  • Hands-on experience with SWIFTNet, SWIFT FIN, InterAct, and FileAct
  • Experience with ISO 20022 (MT/MX Messages)
  • Experience with IBM MQ, JMS, and Kafka in UNIX/distributed environments
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
