Job Description

Raccoon Tech is looking for a Junior Android Developer to join its onsite team in Bahria Town, Islamabad. The role suits an early-career developer with a solid grasp of Kotlin/Java and a genuine interest in building and maintaining Android applications alongside an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
  • Work with Activities, Fragments, Intents, RecyclerView, and XML layouts
  • Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON data
  • Apply MVVM architecture in app development
  • Debug and troubleshoot application issues
  • Collaborate with the team using Git/GitHub for version control

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Android Development
  • Good knowledge of Kotlin and Java with strong OOP understanding
  • Experience with Android Studio, Activities, Fragments, Intents, RecyclerView, and XML layouts
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and MVVM architecture
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • Candidates from Rawalpindi/Islamabad preferred
