Job Description
We are hiring a Drupal Backend Developer to join our Mumbai team on a full-time, in-office basis. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications, working across the full stack from PHP/MySQL backend logic to Twig-based frontend templating. This is a face-to-face interview process with an immediate to 1-week notice period preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites and applications on Drupal 8/9/10
- Write clean, object-oriented PHP following MVC principles
- Build and customize Twig templates for frontend theming
- Implement frontend features using semantic HTML5, CSS3/SASS and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Use jQuery, React, or Vue.js for interactive frontend components
- Manage dependencies and site builds using Composer and Drush
- Deploy and manage sites in cloud environments
- Collaborate with the team in an Agile/Scrum delivery process
Requirements
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Drupal 8/9/10 development
- Advanced proficiency in PHP (OOP, MVC concepts)
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and MySQL skills
- Experience with semantic HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and Twig templating
- Familiarity with jQuery, React, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with Composer, Drush, and cloud environment management
- Preferred: Drupal 11 experience, Symfony or Laravel exposure
- Preferred: AWS/GCP and Docker knowledge
- Preferred: Agile/Scrum experience
- Must be based in Mumbai and available for face-to-face interviews
