Job Description
Recruiting ConsultantCherry Talent GroupRemote – Must Be Based in Houston, TX | Full-TimePTO | Bonus Structure
Cherry Talent Group is growing, and we're looking for a relationship-driven professional who is excited to build meaningful connections, learn quickly, and grow alongside a high-performing team. Recruiting experience is not required — what matters most is your ability to communicate thoughtfully, build trust naturally, and represent both candidates and clients with professionalism, confidence, and care.
At Cherry Talent Group, we believe hiring should feel personal, strategic, and values-aligned — never transactional. We act as true recruiting partners to our clients, helping them navigate hiring decisions with honesty, transparency, and long-term success in mind. Our approach is rooted in communication, emotional intelligence, and creating exceptional experiences for everyone involved in the hiring process.
This role is ideal for someone who can build strong relationships while also navigating professional conversations with confidence and tact. Our clients trust us to provide thoughtful guidance, ask the right questions, and communicate openly throughout the hiring process.
What You'll Do
From your home office, you'll:
- Learn recruiting and talent consulting from the ground up — sourcing, interviewing, and guiding candidates through a thoughtful hiring experience.
- Partner closely with clients to understand their hiring goals, company culture, team dynamics, and long-term business needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process by providing honest feedback, thoughtful recommendations, and clear communication.
- Represent Cherry Talent Group with professionalism, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail in every interaction.
- Help craft compelling job postings and identify both active and passive talent across multiple industries.
- Conduct candidate conversations focused not only on experience, but also on communication style, values alignment, and long-term fit.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization, accountability, and follow-through.
- Collaborate with the CTG team to share ideas, solve challenges, and continuously improve the recruiting experience.
What We're Looking For
- No recruiting experience required — we'll provide training and mentorship.
- A naturally polished communicator who enjoys building relationships and creating positive experiences for others.
- Someone who is resourceful, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities with a high level of ownership and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
- A professional who can navigate conversations with confidence, emotional intelligence, and discretion — even when discussions become challenging or require direct feedback.
- Someone who values responsiveness, follow-through, honesty, and doing things the right way.
- A calm, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in fast-moving situations.
- Background in customer service, hospitality, sales, account management, business development, consulting, or other relationship-focused roles is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and tools in a fast-paced environment.
Why Cherry Talent Group?
- Fully remote work with optional in-person team meetups in the Houston area.
- Competitive hourly compensation, bonus opportunities, PTO, and long-term growth potential.
- A collaborative, people-first culture that values professionalism, trust, communication, and shared success.
- The opportunity to make a real impact by helping companies build stronger teams and helping candidates find meaningful career opportunities.
- A supportive environment where initiative is valued, growth is encouraged, and your contributions genuinely matter.
Cherry Talent Group is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diverse teams create stronger businesses and better outcomes.
