Key Responsibilities

• Build reusable and accessible UI components using React
• Develop and integrate REST APIs using Node.js
• Translate designs and requirements into high-quality solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Plan technical changes and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to the team and Principal Engineers
• Collaborate effectively with API developers and Principal Engineers

Requirements

• Strong experience with React, Java, and API development (Node.js an advantage)
• Experience in the banking domain
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
• Basic understanding of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar)
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, and delivery outcomes
• Valid Australian work rights required; visa sponsorship is not available
