This is an exciting opportunity to stay at the forefront of modern cloud technologies, solve complex engineering challenges, and make a meaningful impact on Apple's enterprise systems. ## Description In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy full-stack cloud enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Frameworks, and modern frontend technologies. You will build secure, scalable RESTful APIs, design robust data models, and integrate applications with core SAP systems. Additionally, you will drive the complete application lifecycle, ensuring high-throughput, low-latency performance and robust production stability. ## Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy full-stack cloud applications and enterprise solutions utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular). Build robust data models and secure, scalable RESTful and OData APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and core enterprise platforms like S/4HANA. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, functional business partners, and stakeholders to validate and translate requirements into high-quality technical architectures. Oversee the entire application development lifecycle, from initial design and data modeling to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production environments. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues, utilizing expertise in JVM tuning, garbage collection, and application monitoring tools. Implement event-driven architectures and microservices using technologies like Kafka or SAP Event Mesh to support high-throughput, low-latency applications. Design and develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients and servers to power next-generation platform capabilities. ## Minimum qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Full-Stack Development Experience: 5+ years of experience building and deploying full-stack enterprise applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks (including Spring Web, Spring Security, and Spring Integration). Frontend Experience: Experience building interactive user interfaces with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. API Development Experience: Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP, and OData (V2/V4) services. Database Experience: Experience with database design, data modeling, and practical application development using SAP HANA Cloud or other relational/NoSQL databases. ## Preferred qualifications Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Experience building, deploying, and configuring cloud services on platforms such as AliCloud (including ECS instances, Load Balancers, VPC, KMS, and Secret Manager). Performance & Observability Experience: Experience optimizing JVM performance, tuning garbage collection, and using application monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, JConsole, Splunk, or Kibana. Event-Driven & Integration Architecture: Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency systems utilizing event-driven architectures with Kafka or SAP Event Mesh. Enterprise Integration & Security: Experience with application security concepts (including OAuth, JWT, XSUAA, and X509) and integration with core SAP systems like S/4HANA. Development Tooling: Proficiency with development environments and tools like IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, Git, Maven, or Gradle. Collaboration & Adaptability: Experience working effectively within multi-regional, cross-functional teams across different time zones, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
