To be successful as a Security Engineer you should have experience with: - Strong and proven experience in the Banking domain, with a preference for Investment Banking, Payments, or Acquiring platforms. - Deep understanding of transaction flows, regulatory considerations, and system integrations. - Advanced proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, along with strong experience in structured defect lifecycle management and test management processes. - Demonstrated ability to drive quality as a shared responsibility across teams, with a focus on prevention over detection. - Automation Frameworks: Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright. - Experience in building scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation solutions. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured or Postman, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture. - Database: Solid knowledge of SQL for backend validation, data integrity checks, and complex query execution. - DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms to enable continuous testing. - Exposure to modern testing and collaboration tools, along with code-assistant technologies (e.g., Duo, Copilot) to enhance productivity and efficiency.
