Job Description
Seffcon Labs is hiring an experienced MERN Stack Developer to design, build, and optimize full-stack web applications. You'll work across the React.js frontend and Node.js/Express backend, own REST API design, integrate third-party services, and collaborate independently within a remote-first engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop REST APIs and integrate third-party applications
- Write optimized MongoDB queries and handle background jobs
- Develop reusable React components using Tailwind or Bootstrap
- Collaborate independently in a remote-first team environment
Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience as a MERN Stack Developer
- Strong experience with React.js (hooks, reusable components), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Real-world experience with Node.js, Express/Fastify, and MongoDB performance optimization
- Experience with background jobs (e.g. BullMQ, Agenda) and complex API integrations
- Familiarity with Next.js, Redux, Tailwind, or Bootstrap is a plus
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, ownership, and accountability
