Job Description
We are expanding our Kraków Centre of Excellence and are looking for additional Senior Accountants (or Accounting Leads, depending on level of experience) to join the team. The team offers significant opportunities to develop financial reporting and taxation experience to candidates who have prior accounting / financial reporting knowledge.
How you'll make an impact:
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements and support the external audit process for European entities
- Prepare income tax accounting entries and reports as well as prepare input for preparation of annual tax returns – assisted by external advisors and corporate tax team
- Gather additional tax and financial information as required by various departments
- Assist with interactions with authorities in coordination with local finance teams
- Partner with other teams (Transfer Pricing, Planning & Analysis, GL Accounting, Treasury, Legal Department, others) and with external advisors to ensure new accounting, statutory or tax developments are incorporated into financial statements and other reportings
- Support the introduction of automation, standardization and new technologies for in-scope processes
- Deliver ad-hoc projects and requests
Qualifications:
- Candidates with solid accounting knowledge
- Communicating in spoken and written English
- A higher education degree, preferably in accounting, taxation or audit; accounting qualifications or vocational secondary education diplomas related to accounting are an asset
- At least 3 years’ experience in accounting (in an accounting practice, audit, shared services with exposure to wide range of accounting topics, other)
- Good knowledge of financial reporting and fundamentals of taxation

Key Responsibilities
