## Senior Accountant Location: 1435 S Euclid Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713 | In-Office Position Salary: $75,000 per year Full-Time | Full Benefits Cool Willy’s is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time, in-office position for an accounting professional who has a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, solving problems, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree, hands-on full-cycle accounting experience, and the ability to work independently while partnering with operational leaders and the broader finance team. ## What You’ll Do - Manage and perform full-cycle accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. - Assist with and take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes. - Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and supporting schedules. - Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations. - Review financial activity, identify discrepancies and variances, and research and resolve accounting issues. - Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounting periods and accounts. - Assist with cash management, expense tracking, and financial reporting. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. - Maintain accurate documentation and internal controls to support financial reporting and audit requirements. - Partner with operational leaders and other departments to improve accounting processes and ensure accurate financial information. - Assist with audits, tax preparation, and other accounting projects as needed. - Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency. ## What We’re Looking For - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. - Strong full-cycle accounting experience required. - Previous experience in a Senior Accountant or similar accounting position preferred. - Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. - Experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with accounting, finance, and operational teams. - Must be able to work full-time, in-office at our Tucson location. ## Compensation & Benefits - $75,000 annual salary. - Medical, dental, and vision insurance. - 401(k) retirement plan. - Paid time off. - Paid holidays. - Full-time, year-round employment. - Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. - Supportive, team-oriented work environment. ## Join Cool Willy’s At Cool Willy’s, we believe strong financial operations are essential to building a successful and growing company.
