Job Description
If you are Senior Agile Engineer, looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Xi'an, you will responsible for developing high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals, and supporting the team's technology capability developing & mentoring junior Engineers.
AS SENIOR AGILE ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Develop high-quality software design and code.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions with 24/7 availability, demonstrating infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standard methodologies for efficient and scalable deployments.
- Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement production code daily, following security standard methodologies and integrating efficient rollback mechanisms for quick issue resolution.
- Develop APIs and protocols to enable seamless integration with websites, third-party partners, mobile applications, and IoT devices.
- Create automated unit and behavioral tests to ensure software reliability, functionality, and quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support and develop agile engineers by providing technical advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and remote teams to fix and improve products.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
- 5 years’ experience in software development with exposure to multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, TypeScript, C#, HTML, XAML, PowerShell, SQL, Swift, etc.)
- Proven experience developing and deploying software on major cloud-native platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, executable technical designs
- Proficiency in both relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
- Track record of shipping at least one commercially used software product
- Comfortably using automation for the development, testing, and deployment of software products
- Capability to independently participate in product support (e.g., on-call rotations)
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies, with the ability to teach and promote agile concepts within the team
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technically complicated and abstract topics to business and product teams effectively
- Good oral and written English communication skills, enabling smooth participation in online meetings.
