Job Description

We are now looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our Apps team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and test major new features for Android apps
  • Improve and maintain existing functionality for The Guardian’s Android apps
  • Work 90%+ in Kotlin with occasional Java usage
  • Collaborate with iOS, server-side, web engineers, designers, and product managers
  • Take on a leadership role in team projects
  • Mentor and guide other developers to help them grow
  • Participate in product and technical decision-making
  • Engage in regular hack days and innovative development
