What Youll Do: - Actively contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our Ruby on Rails backend in close collaboration with a dynamic, cross-functional team. - Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and technical spikes to foster collaboration and code quality. - Work closely with our CTO, Product Lead, and Sustainability Lead to transform customer feedback into impactful features that make a real difference. - Develop scalable, efficient solutions for complex problems while adhering to clean code principles. - Help maintain a high standard of code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, and consistent use of ESLint, Rubocop, and other code-quality tools. - Take ownership of the full deployment process, from testing in a separate environment to live deployment on Herokuensuring seamless and reliable platform performance. - Drive improvements in automation and platform monitoring to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of both technology and sustainability solutions.
