## Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior CADD/BrIM Technician /Bridge Designer to be based in AECOM's San Francisco office to work on exciting local, regional, and national projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
- Primary focus is Civil Engineering CADD for bridges and other structural projects.
- Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety, and/or code requirements.
- Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.
- General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
- Performs routine duties; viewed as fully competent within limits of experience.
- Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager.
- Performs advanced applications, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
- Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
- Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
- Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
- May lead less experienced drafters.
## Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education.
- Ability to pass MVR check + traditional background screening process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Bridge Structures Design
- Bentley Microstation and Autocad proficient
- Proficient in BrIM workflows
- Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
- CADD Management experience a plus
