We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer & BI Developer** to join our team. In this role, you'll contribute to the development, maintenance, and operational support of modern data pipelines and business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining data engineering with reporting and visualization while supporting both project delivery and day-to-day production operations. **What You'll Do** Data Engineering - Design, develop, and maintain data transformation workflows using **dbt**. - Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources. - Develop and maintain data preparation workflows using **Alteryx**. - Create and maintain Python scripts to automate data processing and pipeline tasks. - Ensure data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and well documented. - Monitor scheduled jobs and troubleshoot pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks. - Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring production issues. - Maintain operational documentation and runbooks. Data Visualization - Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using **MicroStrategy**. - Translate business requirements into intuitive and effective reporting solutions. - Optimize dashboards for usability and performance. - Support existing reports by resolving issues, improving functionality, and ensuring successful data refreshes. **Required Qualifications:** - 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics development. - Professional proficiency in English. - Hands-on experience with **dbt**. - Experience building data preparation workflows using **Alteryx**. - Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and modern data pipeline development. - Proficiency in **Python** for scripting and automation. - Experience developing dashboards and reports using **MicroStrategy**. - Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. - Experience supporting both project-based development and production (RunOps) environments. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Nice to Have** - Experience with cloud platforms such as **Azure**, **AWS**, or **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**. - Experience with orchestration tools such as **Apache Airflow**. - Familiarity with data warehousing and dimensional data modeling concepts. - Previous consulting or enterprise environment experience supporting production data platforms.
