You will collaborate with full‑stack, data, and cloud engineering teams to ensure our release processes are secure, scalable, and aligned with modern DevOps and platform‑engineering practices. Release Coordination Through Tooling & Visibility - Enable transparent release visibility by building dashboards and automated reporting (e.g., via GitHub, Azure DevOps, dashboards, or observability tools). - Provide engineering teams with real‑time insight into deployment status, release contents, and post‑deployment health. - Ensure release information is accessible and self‑service rather than dependent on manual communication. Cross-Team Collaboration & Standards - Partner with QA, Cloud Engineering, and Platform Engineering to align standards for automated testing, environment readiness, and quality gates. - Work with product engineering teams to ensure release patterns are adopted consistently across stacks. - Contribute technical guidance to evolve release standards, tooling, and best practices across Digital. Platform, Observability & Operational Reliability - Improve observability and deployment health monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and/or Datadog. - Contribute to operational excellence by improving reliability, availability, and MTTR (mean time to recovery) of release-related workflows. Subject-Matter Expertise & Mentorship - Act as the technical SME for release automation across Digital teams. - Mentor engineers on modern DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, and release engineering practices. Recipe for Success - apply now if this sounds like you! - 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, SRE, Platform, or Cloud roles - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, identity) - Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions) - Experience supporting containerized workloads and Kubernetes platforms (e.g., AKS) - Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Helm) - Experience with scripting or automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar - Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs) - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills - Azure certifications: AZ‑104, AZ‑400, or AZ‑305 preferred - Experience with GitOps tools or models (ArgoCD, Flux, etc.) preferred - Experience with policy/guardrail‑based approaches (Azure Policy, OPA/Gatekeeper) preferred - Experience contributing to or maintaining shared engineering standards or platform capabilities preferred Our Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz’ strategy and values.
