Job Description

### Senior Electronics Design Engineer – Palaiseau, France (Space Sector) Role Overview An exceptional opportunity has emerged for an experienced, technical-minded Senior Electronics Design Engineer to take design ownership of critical hardware within the space technology sector. In this role, you will lead the architecture, circuit design, and validation of complex electronic systems from initial concept to high-reliability production. Collaborating across hardware, systems, and testing departments, you will ensure the hardware delivers robust, flight-ready performance for advanced satellite and aerospace applications. ### Key Responsibilities - System-Level Circuit Design: Drive the architecture and design of high-reliability analog, digital, and power electronics circuitry for mission-critical space applications. - PCB Layout & Simulation: Oversee advanced multi-layer PCB design layouts and perform rigourous circuit analysis/simulations (e.g., SPICE) to optimize board functionality and durability. - Compliance & Verification: Ensure total alignment with strict aerospace frameworks, overseeing EMC/EMI mitigation techniques and managing environmental qualification testing (temperature, thermal-vacuum, vibration, shock). - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with mechanical, embedded systems/firmware, and test teams to guarantee smooth design integration and optimal product manufacturability. - Technical Mentorship: Act as a core technical resource, guiding design reviews, implementing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and mentoring junior engineering team members. ### Candidate Profile - Industry Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of electronic hardware design experience, ideally within the aerospace, space, defense, or high-reliability instrumentation sectors. - Technical Roots: Strong hands-on proficiency in both analog (signal conditioning, sensor interfaces, power electronics) and digital circuitry design. - Design Tools: Proficient with professional PCB design software suites (such as Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, or similar). - Standards & Testing: Solid comprehension of EMC compliance and experience leading high-reliability space-grade or military-grade hardware qualification frameworks. - Language: Professional fluency in English; French language skills are a strong asset for local team integration. ### The Offer - Location: Modern office hub located in Palaiseau, France (greater Paris region). - Contract: Full-time, permanent employment contract (CDI). - Compensation: Highly competitive base salary ranging from €55,000 to €75,000, commensurate with your technical track record and experience. - Professional Growth: Opportunity to enrich your portfolio by working alongside a leading international engineering team pushing the absolute boundaries of NewSpace and satellite manufacturing. - Benefits: Robust package including comprehensive health plans, paid training, and continuous technical career advancement. Are you ready to design hardware that operates beyond the atmosphere? If you have a passion for complex circuitry, rigorous qualification testing, and building the future of satellite technology, this is your next career step.
