**Responsibilities**: - Experienced UI Front End Software Engineer (SWE3), directly meeting mission-critical needs in partnership with mission customers. - This individual will lead a team of UI developers, designing front-end architecture and coding standards while remaining hands-on in development across the full software product lifecycle in an agile environment. - Responsibilities span analyzing user requirements to derive design and performance standards, developing and debugging software, integrating systems, and implementing algorithms to meet performance goals. - The ideal candidate has front end experience, translates UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, and mentors junior developers while collaborating closely with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical problem areas. - Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review - Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks - Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces - Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt - Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making - Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development **Required**: - **Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD** - **Twelve (12) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required** - Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team - Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design - Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design - Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud is a plus) - Experience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces - Experience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment is a plus **Education**: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
