We enjoy a flexible way of working and a highly collaborative environment, where fair and constructive feedback is encouraged. For us, impact isn't a perk. It's the driver of our work. We are guided and rewarded by a shared desire to make the world a better place, one innovative solution at a time. Do you? **The Mission** Within our Payment Products area, we’re looking for an enthusiastic **S** **enior** **Front-End Developer** who’s passionate about building high‑quality, scalable user experiences. We also own the **transaction download front-end**, which we aim to significantly uplift in customer satisfaction. Curiosity is key — you’ll have plenty of room to experiment, innovate, and bring your ideas to life. **Your day to day** As a Front-End Engineer in our Agile DevOps team, you will: - Develop, enhance, and maintain reusable front-end components using **Web Components (LitHTML)**, **JavaScript**, and related technologies; - Collaborate closely with back-end engineers to build seamless, intuitive experiences for ING’s developer platform; - Implement scalable, performant, and clean front-end code; - Ensure high standards for **accessibility, security, and usability;** - Raise the bar on code quality, test automation, and performance engineering; - Mentor less-experienced engineers and help grow front-end craftsmanship within the squad; - Support the full DevOps lifecycle: coding, testing, deployment, monitoring; - Continuously improve our engineering culture, automation, and CI/CD pipelines; - Work as part of a small, multidisciplinary squad that takes full ownership of its products. Our Tech Stack - Front-end: Web Components (LitHTML), JavaScript, HTML/CSS. - Back-end exposure: Interacting with REST APIs (Kotlin/Java Spring Boot). - Platforms & tooling: Azure DevOps, Git. **What you’ll bring to the team** - **5+ years of front-end development experience;** - Proven experience with **JavaScript** and modern front-end patterns/frameworks; - Experience with **Web Components**, or willingness to learn; - Understanding of CI/CD, testing, automation, and DevOps practices; - Fluent communication skills in English; - A “**Can do**” mentality — take it on and make it happen; - A drive for continuous improvement: personal, technical, and team-based; - Awareness of working in a complex IT environment where IT Risk & compliance matter; Nice to have: - Full-stack experience; - Experience building developer-facing platforms or APIs; - Experience shaping front-end guidelines, shared libraries, or design systems. *If you want to deep dive into the processing of personal data conducted by ING Hubs Romania during the recruitment process and your rights related to it, read the **privacy notices** on our*[*website*](https://inghubsromania.com/home) *(make sure to scroll until you reach the Data Protection section/ Candidates tab).*
