This opportunity is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex challenges, writing clean and resilient code, and working in a collaborative, remote-first environment that values continuous learning and craftsmanship. ### Accountabilities - Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications, websites, and design systems using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Translate design concepts and business requirements into scalable, maintainable front-end solutions while selecting appropriate technologies and development approaches. - Build new features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure production-ready code through effective debugging, testing, and error handling. - Champion accessibility standards by implementing WCAG best practices and ensuring excellent user experiences across browsers and devices. - Collaborate closely with designers, technical leads, product teams, and stakeholders throughout planning, development, and delivery. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide technical input during project planning, and communicate progress, risks, and blockers effectively. - Conduct code reviews, contribute to engineering standards, and support continuous improvement across development workflows. - Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git-based collaboration, and technical documentation to ensure software quality and efficient delivery. ## Requirements - 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development. - Proven experience delivering modern websites, web applications, or design systems in collaborative environments. - Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive development, front-end architecture, performance optimization, automated testing, Git, GitHub, debugging, code reviews, and cross-browser compatibility. - Solid knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), design systems, CI/CD practices, component-based development, modern JavaScript frameworks, Web Components, build tools, Agile methodologies, and UX best practices. - Experience with WordPress, accessibility auditing, multi-application component libraries, performance optimization techniques, and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude. - Ability to work independently within distributed teams while collaborating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and English language skills, with availability to collaborate during U.S. business hours. - Experience with enterprise design systems, accessibility certifications, agency environments, developer mentoring, or open-source contributions is considered an advantage. ## Benefits - Competitive monthly salary of USD $2,500–$3,500. - Fully remote position with the flexibility to work from Mexico. - Opportunity to contribute to enterprise-scale digital products and design systems. - Collaborative, remote-first work environment focused on technical excellence and continuous learning. - Exposure to multidisciplinary teams and complex, impactful web projects.
