Based in Ireland and operating across the EU, UK, and US, Zinkworks combines deep domain expertise with delivery excellence to help clients modernize faster and operate smarter. ##### About the Role We are building a small, empowered product discovery team focused on Zinkworks’ Autonomous Networks product portfolio. The team will take new product ideas from concept through to high-fidelity, working prototypes that telecoms operators can see, test, and respond to. As Senior Frontend Engineer, you will own the UI for every prototype this team ships. You will work closely with our in-house UX designer, turning Figma designs into polished, client-ready React interfaces. You will also set the frontend standards, component patterns, and visual quality bar for the team. This is a role for a frontend engineer who cares deeply about craft. The work will go beyond standard forms and dashboards. Many of the products we are building are agent-driven, which means you will help explore what UI looks like when the product experience is shaped by AI agents, conversational workflows, and new human-AI interaction patterns. ##### What You’ll Do - Own the frontend delivery of high-fidelity product prototypes from concept through to client-ready demos. - Build polished, responsive React and TypeScript interfaces based on Figma design hand-offs. - Set frontend engineering standards, component patterns, and UI quality expectations for the team. - Work closely with UX, backend, AI, and product colleagues to shape how users interact with agent-driven products. - Translate complex technical and telecoms workflows into clear, usable interfaces. - Challenge UX and product decisions constructively when there are better implementation or interaction approaches. - Explore emerging UI patterns for agentic systems, conversational interfaces, and AI-assisted workflows. - Contribute to rapid product discovery while keeping the frontend codebase clean, maintainable, and scalable. ##### What We’re Looking For - Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development. - Proven ability to implement high-fidelity Figma designs with accuracy and attention to detail. - Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, and reusable UI patterns. - A portfolio or body of work that shows strong visual craft and attention to user experience. - Experience building polished dashboards, workflow tools, data-heavy interfaces, or internal product platforms. - Ability to work independently as the primary frontend engineer in a small product team. - Confidence working with designers, product owners, backend engineers, and AI specialists. - A strong point of view on interaction design and the ability to challenge decisions constructively. - An AI-augmented approach to software development, using modern AI tools to improve speed, quality, or productivity. - Curiosity about agentic, conversational, or human-AI interface patterns. ##### Nice to Have - Experience working on AI-enabled, agent-driven, or conversational interfaces. - Familiarity with Google ADK or similar agent development frameworks. - Experience with GCP-based deployment environments. - Telecoms, OSS, network operations, or network automation domain experience. - Experience building prototypes, proofs-of-concept, or early-stage product interfaces. ##### Tech You’ll Work With - React - TypeScript - Modern frontend tooling - Figma - GCP-based deployment environments - AI-assisted development tools - Google ADK or agentic frameworks where relevant ##### Inclusion & Diversity at Zinkworks At Zinkworks, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
