As a Senior Kotlin Backend Developer, you will: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture - Analyze business requirements and design robust application and data architecture solutions for business-critical systems - Develop clean, efficient, and high-quality code while following coding standards and best practices - Build, deploy, and maintain reliable backend services supporting strategic delivery processes - Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile DevOps environment - Take ownership of application deployments, monitoring, and ongoing operational support, including participation in 24/7 standby rotations - Perform code reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous code quality enhancements - Troubleshoot production issues, implement performance improvements, and ensure high system availability - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, DevOps practices, and engineering standards What You Bring to the Table: - 10+ years of experience in backend software development with strong expertise in Kotlin - Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, backend application design, and distributed systems - Experience with application architecture, data modeling, and scalable backend solution design - Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and deployment automation - Experience working within Agile Scrum environments and participating in iterative software delivery - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean code principles, testing, and code quality - Experience supporting production systems and participating in operational support or on-call rotations - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams You Should Possess the Ability To: - Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performing backend applications - Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions - Deliver high-quality software while maintaining performance, stability, and reliability - Collaborate effectively with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders - Take ownership of application delivery throughout the complete software development lifecycle - Continuously improve engineering practices, code quality, and team productivity - Work independently while contributing effectively within an Agile DevOps team What We Bring to the Table: - Opportunity to develop business-critical backend applications using modern Kotlin technologies - Exposure to enterprise-scale microservices and cloud-native application development - Collaborative Agile environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement - Opportunity to work with experienced engineering teams on strategic digital transformation initiatives - Continuous learning opportunities and professional growth through challenging technology projects Let’s Connect Want to discuss this opportunity in more detail?
