## Senior .NET Developer (AI-Savvy) — Kuala Lumpur Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Experience: 6+ years Employment Type: Full-time On-site IMMEDIATE JOINER ### About the Role We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications and APIs using C# / .NET. You will work closely with engineering, product, and data/AI stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled features and integrate modern AI capabilities into our platforms. If you’re strong in backend development and comfortable using AI tools/APIs (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, RAG, automation), we want to hear from you. ### Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET. - Build and optimize REST APIs / microservices with performance, reliability, and security in mind. - Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications (e.g., chat/assistant features, document Q&A, summarization, classification, search enhancements). - Work with AI concepts such as: - LLM integration (prompting, function calling, tool usage) - Embeddings & vector search - RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) - Basic evaluation/testing of AI outputs - Create solutions using Azure/AWS/GCP services (cloud exposure is a plus). - Collaborate with frontend engineers to define robust API contracts. - Troubleshoot production issues and improve system observability. - Participate in architecture discussions and mentor team members (tech lead mindset preferred). ### Requirements - 6+ years of professional experience with .NET (C#). - Strong knowledge of: - ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, async programming - SQL (SQL Server preferred) and database design/performance - RESTful service design and API versioning - Experience with at least one of the following: - Azure (Functions, App Service, Service Bus, Key Vault, etc.) - CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, pipelines) - AI/LLM integration experience(hands-on). Examples: - Using LLM APIs (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI/Anthropic/etc.) - Implementing embeddings + vector database (e.g., Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) - Building RAG pipelines - Knowledge of security best practices (authentication/authorization, secrets management, OWASP). ### Nice to Have - Exposure to Python for AI services/scripts. - Experience with message queues, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus). - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Experience with unit/integration testing and test automation. - Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
