This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior .Net SQL Developer/Support Engineer based in United States. This role combines hands-on software engineering with mission-critical production support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and stabilizing web and Windows-based applications built on .NET and SQL technologies. The position plays a key role in ensuring system reliability, resolving high-impact production issues, and supporting release cycles across development and operations teams. You will work closely with stakeholders across technical and business functions, translating requirements into robust technical solutions. This is a rotational on-call role where responsiveness and ownership are essential, especially during off-hours incidents. It is well suited for an engineer who enjoys both building systems and ensuring they run smoothly in production. ### Accountabilities: - Develop, enhance, and maintain web and Windows-based enterprise applications using .NET technologies while ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. - Design, implement, and optimize database objects including tables, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and SQL deployment scripts for application releases. - Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident management, critical issue resolution, and root cause analysis for system outages and performance issues. - Participate in full software development lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, technical documentation, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Execute unit and integration testing, defect tracking, and code reviews to ensure high-quality and stable application releases. - Support production, UAT, and QA environments, ensuring smooth release execution and timely resolution of deployment-related issues. - Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. ## Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in .NET and SQL development for enterprise web and Windows-based applications. - Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, REST/Web API, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and related front-end frameworks including jQuery and Kendo UI. - Advanced SQL skills with experience in database design, stored procedures, functions, performance tuning, and deployment scripting. - Proven experience in L2/L3 production support, including handling critical incidents and ensuring system uptime and reliability. - Familiarity with SSRS, Report Builder, and end-to-end reporting solutions in enterprise environments. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and manage urgent production issues under pressure. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder interaction skills. ## Benefits: - Competitive compensation aligned with experience and expertise - Remote work flexibility within the United States (EST working hours required) - Exposure to enterprise-scale applications and mission-critical systems - Opportunity to work on both development and production support challenges - Collaborative Agile environment with structured delivery processes - Hands-on experience with modern .NET and SQL-based technology stacks - Involvement in high-impact incident resolution and system stability initiatives How Jobgether works: We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
