FREEDOM FINANCE TECHNOLOGIES is a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the international financial holding Freedom Finance. We develop and maintain trading and banking IT products, as well as the holding’s IT infrastructure worldwide. Our team currently consists of 170 professionals. Over the past three years, we have grown fourfold and continue to actively expand our team. Since 2009, we have been developing our core product - a trading system for brokerage operations in the stock market. More than 700,000 users across 41 countries use our applications. We are expanding our IT Infrastructure team and are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our amazing Billing team. Responsibilities - Implement new modules into web applications. - Integrate with external services. - Deploy new code to production. - Estimate development tasks. - Participate in the design and improvement of the product infrastructure to enhance stability and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that meet business requirements. - Design architectural solutions, technologies, databases, and infrastructure to ensure stable and high-performing systems. - 6+ years of experience as a Backend or Full-Stack Developer, including at least 5 years of hands-on PHP development experience. - Experience with at least one PHP framework, such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework, or Yii. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and common design patterns. - Experience with CI/CD practices and pipelines; familiarity with real-time technologies such as WebSockets is a plus. - Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Confident use of Git via the command line. - Good knowledge of the Linux command line, including the ability to independently set up and configure a web stack. - Willingness and ability to write and maintain automated tests. - Strong fintech background preferred - Russian: native or C1 - English: B1+ - Experience working with monolith architectures and service-oriented migration - Ability to understand product and domain context, not just execute tasks - Benefits - Office-based role in Limassol, Monday to Friday (5/2), with a hybrid work option. - 21 paid vacation days per year. - Paid sick leave. - Child allowance: €400 per month for each child under 18 living with you in Cyprus. - Access to company sports teams (football, volleyball, men's and women's sailing, and marathon). - 50% reimbursement for private health insurance (if the standard insurance coverage is insufficient). - Tickets to online professional conferences. - Paid courses related to your field of work. - Corporate discount on online English classes. - Regular company events.
