This role focuses on designing scalable, production-ready AI solutions where LLMs can reason, use tools, and automate software engineering tasks. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building agentic AI systems, orchestration workflows, and AI-assisted developer tooling. **You will:** - Design and build AI-driven engineering workflows using LLMs and autonomous agents - Steer and validate AI coding agents to improve engineering throughput and code quality - Develop testing, evaluation, and guardrail frameworks for AI-generated output - Optimize context management using embeddings, retrieval, and memory strategies - Partner with teams to deliver scalable, secure, cloud-native AI solutions ### Qualifications **Take the first step towards your dream career** Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: **Essential Requirements** - 10+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent skill; **must include hands-on experience building LLM-powered systems, production AI agents, or autonomous workflows** - Strong programming skills in Python, automation tooling, and Kubernetes - Experience with orchestration frameworks, tool calling, RAG, or evaluation frameworks - Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to adapt in fast-moving environments **Compensation** Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. **The base salary range for this position is $196,000 - $269,500.**
