Experience with component libraries like Material-UI, Ant Design, or building and maintaining custom design systems. - API Integration: Strong proficiency in consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. - CI/CD & Build Tools: Hands-on experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), package managers (NPM, Yarn), and CI/CD practices for web applications. - Testing: Experience with unit and component testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright). - Web Performance (Beneficial): Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, memoization) and profiling tools (Lighthouse, React DevTools). # AI Tools & Methodologies (Must): - Demonstrable exposure and practical experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, v0.dev, Claude, and Codex. - Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, and integrating AI into software development workflows (e.g., for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation). - A keen desire to apply AI technologies to improve software development processes and outcomes. # Recommended Qualifications: - 6-10 years of relevant experience in a Front-End or UI Developer role. - Demonstrated expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their core concepts and the browser rendering pipeline. - Extensive experience with the React ecosystem for building enterprise-level applications. - Strong foundation in object-oriented and functional programming principles and a practical understanding of design patterns to create scalable and maintainable code. - Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases from a consumer's perspective. - Experience with unit/integration testing and a commitment to writing clean, well-documented, and testable code. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles. - Extensive experience in system analysis and in programming of software applications. - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. - Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Front-End Development (e.g., Performance, Accessibility, State Management). - Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate. - Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. # Education: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
