Job Description

**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer – Data & AI Security based in Switzerland.** This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, cybersecurity, and cutting-edge data and AI protection technologies. You will act as the key technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, helping enterprise customers understand, design, and adopt advanced data security posture management solutions. Working closely with account executives and solution engineers, you will translate complex security and compliance challenges into clear, scalable technical solutions. The position is highly customer-facing, involving deep discovery, solution design, and hands-on demonstrations to showcase product value in real-world environments. You will engage with large, security-conscious organizations navigating data governance, privacy, and AI risk at scale. This is a high-impact role where technical credibility, trust-building, and strategic thinking are essential to success. ### Accountabilities: - Act as the primary technical expert for data and AI security solutions throughout the sales cycle. - Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs around data protection, compliance, and security posture management. - Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts aligned with enterprise requirements. - Support account executives by shaping technical strategy and removing blockers during complex sales cycles. - Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and adoption. - Address customer challenges in data discovery, cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks. - Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders across enterprise organizations. ## Requirements - 10+ years of experience in technical sales engineering or pre-sales roles within enterprise software or SaaS environments. - 15+ years of overall experience in software, SaaS, or enterprise technology sales functions. - Strong expertise in data security, cloud security, or cybersecurity domains. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Solid understanding of data privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001). - Experience with DSPM concepts, cloud data systems, Linux, or Kubernetes is highly valuable. - Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical experts and executive stakeholders. - Strong experience delivering demos, PoCs, and technical presentations in complex enterprise sales cycles. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications are a plus. ## Benefits - Competitive compensation package with performance-related incentives - Comprehensive paid time off, including vacation days and additional global wellbeing days - Flexible hybrid/remote working model (Switzerland-based) - Strong health and wellness support, including medical allowance and therapy sessions - Pension plan with employer and employee contributions - Life, accident, and disability insurance coverage - Learning and development budget with access to platforms like LinkedIn Learning and O’Reilly - Structured mentoring, workshops, and global learning initiatives - Opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI and data security technologies. **How Jobgether works:** We use an **AI-powered matching process** to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
