Job Description

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 3 years of experience developing for mobile operating systems (Android). Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, or Generative AI. Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience with mobile or desktop development. Experience with software engineering development, including leading small team for more than a year. Ability to iterate approach for complex features to a large number of users. As a senior software engineer on Chrome Identity, you will technically lead a small team of engineers in Warsaw working on Chrome Identity on mobile platforms - primarily Android - with exposure to desktop. You will get to build features that are used by billions of users and that are highly visible in Chrome UIs (e.g., the account menu, the first run experience, the Chrome profile picker etc.). Chrome Identity offers great opportunities for collaborations across Chrome and Google, a challenging and ambiguous problem space, and delivering impactful projects critical to Chrome's long-term success.
