Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C or C++). 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

Responsibilities Work with cross-functional teams and engineering managers to develop kernel HAL, framework that enables user experience with next generation sensing technologies. Write code in C, C++, Objective-C or Python for embedded microcontroller and sensor applications. Create and execute plans to bring-up, debug and validate designs to achieve functional and performance goals. Design basic software Graphical User Interface (GUI) to demonstrate the feature. Learn Android sensor framework and adapt for desktop form factors. Present results to both internal and external Engineering teams.
