If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now! #### What you’ll do As a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) on the Digital Products team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering high-quality iOS applications that power the connected vehicle experience. You will contribute to the development of customer-facing products and features, including vehicle connectivity, mapping and navigation services, EV charging experiences, vehicle purchasing journeys, and other innovative digital solutions. In this role, you will: - Design, develop, maintain, and release robust, scalable, and user-centric iOS applications. - Lead Own the implementation of complex mobile features from concept through production, ensuring high standards for performance, reliability, maintainability, and security. - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and cross-functional partners to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences. - Drive technical excellence through code reviews, architecture discussions, and adherence to engineering best practices. - Develop and maintain automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and regression testing, to ensure application quality and stability. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, proactively identifying opportunities to improve application performance and developer productivity. - Mentor and support junior engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving. - Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends in iOS development, evaluating new tools, patterns, and approaches where they provide meaningful value. Here's what else you'll bring: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering shipping customer facing applications on iOS. - Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI - Solid understanding of mobile platform architecture, UI/UX design principles and frameworks, GraphQL, mobile security and performance optimization techniques. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps, and mobile release processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. - Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience operating in start-up settings, launching 0 to 1 product, and driving graduation to highly customized applications. - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Passion for mobile technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
