With clients in over 150 countries and offices on six continents, you’ll get exposed to different cultures, people, and business development happening around the world. # Senior Tax Accountant (Individual Tax Returns) # The Senior Tax Accountant will play a critical role in the accurate and timely preparation and review of various tax returns and related tax documentation for Fiduciary Trust International clients. This tax preparer role requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. # How You Will Add Value - Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and gift tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and foundations. - Manage the tax compliance process for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, including gathering necessary financial information, communicating with clients, and addressing tax-related inquiries. - Conduct tax research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to management and clients. - Assist in the preparation of estimated tax payments and extensions. - Collaborate with other departments, such as wealth management and operations, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting. - Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. - Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company and its clients. # What Will Help You Be Successful - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - Master's degree in Taxation highly preferred - Minimum 5-7 years' tax experience - In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, with a strong emphasis on preparing individual, partnership, and foundation tax returns - Experience with CCH Axcess tax preparation software - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to both internal and external stakeholders - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Ability to work in our Radnor, PA office three days per week Compensation: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary — designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
