Job Description
Skygate Consulting is hiring on behalf of a client for an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in the Linux kernel storage stack. The role focuses on file systems and storage drivers used in Android devices, working across the full storage stack from file systems down to hardware storage media drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the Linux kernel storage stack for embedded/Android platforms
- Develop and maintain file system support (EXT4, F2FS)
- Develop and maintain storage drivers for eMMC, UFS, SD card, NAND, and SDIO on Android
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with the Linux kernel storage stack
- Experience with file systems such as EXT4 and F2FS
- Experience with storage drivers for eMMC, UFS, SD card, NAND, and SDIO on Android
- Immediate joiner or notice period up to 30 days
