Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GCP Data Engineer to join an onsite team in Pleasanton, California. This role requires deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform data services and modern data engineering practices, building scalable, reliable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. This position is open to US Citizens only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data models in BigQuery
  • Manage and tune AlloyDB database workloads
  • Build and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT
  • Implement and manage workflow orchestration for data pipelines
  • Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
  • Apply modern coding and development best practices across the data platform

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery
  • Experience with AlloyDB
  • Experience with DBT
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Pleasanton, California
