Job Description

Softprudence is hiring a Shopify Backend Developer to build, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts and backend integrations for our digital marketing and web design clients. You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to deliver high-performing, scalable e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Build and maintain Shopify apps and backend integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Set up and manage Shopify webhooks for real-time data syncing
  • Debug and resolve store performance, functionality, and compatibility issues
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement feature requests
  • Maintain code quality and version control using Git

Requirements

  • 2 years of hands-on experience with Shopify development
  • Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Shopify REST/GraphQL APIs and webhooks
  • Experience with Shopify app development
  • Working knowledge of Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills
