See job description for details. Entity: Oracle America, Inc. Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.37339) Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires: 1. Cloud technologies including AWS, databases, and high throughput event processing; 2. Produce high-quality, testable code in Java and related technologies producing correct and maintainable code; 3. Design and implementation of features and subsystems; 4. Define and create test scenarios and implement robust unit and integration tests; 5. Design patterns and coding standards; and 6. Unix, Linux, and database systems. ### Qualifications Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
